At Sterling Virginia Smiles we offer nitrous oxide (commonly known as “laughing gas”) as well as prescription medication to manage anxiety. The American Dental Association supports the use of sedation to ensure patients who require procedures like fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions, cosmetic treatments, and periodontal procedures are comfortable.
